They say there is absolutely nothing far better than a warm chocolate chip cookie fresh out of the oven. Enter the chocolate chip muffin. Freshly baked, these muffins are perfection. A perfect crispy prime that will pop proper off (the appropriate way to eat a muffin) and fluffy body that makes them stand tall. These are the muffins we want to wake up to every single morning.
What type of sugar?
We utilized the two granulated sugar and light brown sugar in our recipe to truly mimic the taste of a chocolate chip cookie. The brown sugar adds a great caramel taste and can make it taste like it is from a bakery. If you actually want to taste that caramel taste you can use dark brown sugar in spot of the light.
Melted or softened butter?
We needed a light and fluffy muffin so we went with softened butter. Melted butter will give you a considerably denser muffin that would even now be just as wonderful!
Can I include more combine-ins?
Totally! Include some chopped walnuts or pecans, coconut flakes, or chopped banana would all be delicious! Sprinkle some coarse sugar on prime for a crunchy topping as well!
